Multiple paths, not a single ladder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We don\u2019t believe everyone has to climb the same \u201cmanagement ladder\u201d. You can grow in several directions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Deep specialist<\/strong><br>e.g. security engineer, senior designer, infra architect<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cross-functional generalist<\/strong><br>e.g. product + data, design + front-end<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>People leader<\/strong><br>if you enjoy mentoring, aligning teams, and building systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of a rigid \u201cmanagement vs. expert\u201d split, we encourage you to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u63a2\u7d22 <strong>different professional domains horizontally<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Switch tracks<\/strong> when it fits your strengths and interests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build a multi-dimensional career, not just a longer title<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 Yes, you <em>can<\/em> move between roles like designer and product manager \u2014<br>as long as you have the skills to do each role well.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Your growth ladder: Professional levels (P1\u2013P5)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Internally, we use a <strong>professional ladder (P1\u2013P5)<\/strong> to describe growth.<br>Details differ by function, but the logic is consistent:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>P1\u2013P2 \u2013 Developing individual contributor<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Delivers tasks with guidance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Builds solid fundamentals in their craft<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>P3 \u2013 Core individual contributor<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Owns features or projects end-to-end<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactively identifies problems and proposes solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>P4 \u2013 Senior \/ expert<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leads complex projects and designs systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentors others and influences roadmap or strategy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>P5 \u2013 Principal \/ domain leader<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shapes direction for an entire domain or function<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creates frameworks and standards others follow<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each function has its own <strong>capability model and behavior examples<\/strong>, so you can see what \u201cthe next level\u201d actually looks like in your role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. How do promotions work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We want promotion to be <strong>simple, transparent, and in your control<\/strong>, not a black box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1 \u2013 Regular growth check-ins<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>About every six months, you and your leader have a dedicated conversation around:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your goals for the next 6\u201312 months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The level you\u2019re aiming for (e.g. P2 \u2192 P3)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What evidence you\u2019d need to demonstrate to get there<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2 \u2013 Self-driven application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you feel ready, you can raise your hand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare your <strong>results and case studies<\/strong><br>(projects, impact, improvements, mentoring, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Talk with your leader and HR about your promotion request<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We\u2019ll guide you through the process and expectations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Promotion is not a once-a-year lottery.<br>If you\u2019re ready, we want a path for you to move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 \u2013 Holistic evaluation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We look at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Capabilities<\/strong> \u2013 skills, behaviors, ownership level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contribution<\/strong> \u2013 real impact, not just effort or hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Potential<\/strong> \u2013 readiness for a bigger scope or higher complexity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s an evaluation, not an exam.<br>Our principle: <strong>documented criteria, clear feedback, and support<\/strong> from both HR and your leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Growth incentives: not just a new title<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each professional level (P1\u2013P5) is linked to <strong>three internal salary bands<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>L1<\/strong> \u2013 Meets expectations at this level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>L2<\/strong> \u2013 Strong, consistent performance and growing impact<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>L3<\/strong> \u2013 Role model at this level, sets the standard for others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As you grow <strong>within the same level<\/strong>, your compensation moves from L1 \u2192 L2 \u2192 L3.<br>When you <strong>move up a level<\/strong> (e.g. P3 \u2192 P4), your salary is adjusted into the new band <strong>automatically<\/strong>\u2014no extra negotiation needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Example:<br>As a <strong>P3<\/strong>, the stronger your capability and impact,<br>the more room you have to grow inside the P3 band (from L1 to L3).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beyond salary: other growth-driven rewards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We also want you to feel <strong>progress and opportunity<\/strong>, not just a pay change:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>External learning &amp; development<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Budget for courses, certifications, and industry conferences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cross-functional project opportunities<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Join cross-team initiatives and talent programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>More autonomy and choice<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Greater say in what you work on and how you work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possible access to flexible or remote project setups where applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We know you care about <strong>growth and meaning<\/strong>, not only money.<br>So we design promotions to bring more responsibility, learning, and freedom\u2014as well as fair compensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6.
