Challenge Snapshot

  • Event Dates:Jan 30, 2026 – Feb 28, 2026
  • Theme:AI MV (AI Music Video) — music-driven videos combining AI-generated visuals
  • Ranking: Based on community likes during the event period
  • Prize Pool:10,000 credits total

This is a challenge-style contest—not a portfolio review, not a “best prompt wins” showcase. It’s about what lands on screen: audio + imagery working together.

What Counts as an “AI MV” for This Challenge?

To qualify, your submission must clearly match the AI MV theme:

It must be a video. It must be music-driven—the visuals should visibly follow the rhythm, mood, or structure of the track. ✅ It must combine music + AI-generated visuals (your visuals should be AI-created). ✅ It must be original and follow ImaStudio community guidelines.

If the work is off-theme—like a random AI clip with background audio, or visuals that don’t interact with the music—it won’t be eligible for judging or rewards.

Think of it this way: we should be able to “feel the edit” in the beat.

What You Can Submit

This is an AI MV content call, so you’re not limited to one format. Here are three strong directions (choose one—or mix them):

  1. AI MV Final Cut

A complete music video segment edited to the music’s rhythm. This can be punchy and short or more cinematic—what matters is that the cutting, motion, and emotional curve feel synced.

Best for creators who already know how to pace visuals and want to compete hard.

  1. AI MV Templates

A reusable MV structure—like “verse build → chorus burst → bridge calm → final chorus lift.”

Templates can be remixed by swapping music or materials, which makes them great for community growth and creativity.

Best for creators who like building formats others can reuse (and who want their work to travel).

  1. Experimental AI Music Visuals

Artistic or conceptual works focused on rhythm, visual language, and emotion. Abstract visuals are welcome—as long as the music-to-visual relationship is clear.

Best for creators pushing style, texture, and mood.

Rewards: 10,000 Credits Up for Grabs

Rewards are based on community likes ranking (counted during the event period). Total prize pool: 10,000 credits.

  • 🥇 1st Prize (1 winner): 1800 credits
  • 🥈 2nd Prize (4 winners): 800 credits each
  • 🥉 3rd Prize (25 winners): 200 credits each

If you want a practical takeaway: this is a contest where posting smart matters. Timing, clarity, and “hook in the first seconds” can change everything.

Tips to Climb the Likes Ranking (Without Overthinking It)

This is not a full tutorial—just the moves that reliably help AI music video entries land better in a challenge environment.

Make the music-to-visual connection obvious

Don’t hide your best sync in the middle. Let viewers instantly see the relationship between audio and imagery.

Build a “moment” for the chorus

Even if your visuals are minimalist, give the chorus a clear shift: color change, motion change, scene change, camera energy—something.

Keep the first seconds sharp

Most viewers decide fast. Start where the rhythm is clear, or start with a visual that makes people lean in.

Post early enough to gather momentum

Likes ranking happens during the event window. If you post late, you’re fighting the clock.
